Kevin enjoys the richness of having strong roots in traditional painting while absorbing the experiences of modern life. He would like his paintings to communicate the energy and richness he finds in everyday observations of the world. The goal for Kevin is to achieve layers of restrained simplicity, which form a dynamic whole. He tries to capture light and color perfectly as he blend layers and rich, textured oils.
Kevin received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1999 from The Art Academy of Cincinnati. He spent a Spring semester in New York in 1998. In the summer of that year, he studied Painting and History courses in France, at the Lacoste School for the Arts. His work can be found in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the country.
