Dubbed by the Los Angeles Times as “The Godmother of Modern Surf Art,” Heather Brown has rightfully earned her title as Hawaii’s number one selling surf artist. Growing up in a family of artists and artisans in Southern California, Heather Brown found her passions in both art and nature at a very early age. Heather Brown honed her artistic skills as a student at the University of Hawaii focusing primarily on the "lost arts" of intaglio printmaking, silkscreen printing, linocuts, woodcuts, and etchings which explains where her iconic island-inspired style was born and bred. Today, Heather Brown's original paintings are in high demand, connecting colorful imagery to the joy of living a carefree Hawaiian lifestyle. Collectors across the world can reminisce on their time in Hawaii and carry a piece of aloha in their homes and hearts.
