Fran has spent the past 15 years studying fine art photography from the very best of the best. From slogging through the Everglades in chest-high waters to roughing it in the wilds of Eastern Patagonia, Western Patagonia, and Eastern Kenya for The Nature Conservancy, this passion she has for photographing nature, landscape, and contemporary art provides a daily source of endless inspiration.
Earning a degree from the New York institute of Photography in 2009, Fran has furthered her studies with a myriad of workshops including those of National Geographic’s master photographer, Raul Touzon. She is currently studying photograph painting with Cheryl Dorskind.
To date, Fran’s photographs have been featured in publications and galleries including; Arts Across Kentucky, Nature Photographers Magazine, Nature Conservancy Magazine, Dragonfly Gallery, Ocean Reef Art Gallery, Ralice Gallery of Greater Cincinnati, Malton Gallery Hyde Park, The Red Contemporary Gallery Steamboat Springs Colorado, and the book Florida Bay Forever.
